Blended Presenting –
Using a Presentation Toolkit to Ensure Greater Audience Engagement
All too often these days, when people think “presentation,” they automatically think “PowerPoint.” Now whilst we love PowerPoint and the cool things it can bring to a presentation, it should NEVER be considered the default option. There are so many other tools at your disposal!
How about presenting using nothing but a whiteboard and a bunch of coloured pens? How about delivering your presentation on a tablet PC? How about using a hard copy presentation?
Each method works on its own or as part of a blended approach to ensure the audience is presented with the right information, in the right format, at the right time.
And that’s what “Blended Presenting” is all about – opening up the options for you as a presenter and ultimately ensuring greater audience engagement.
About Simon Morton
Simon founded Eyeful Presentations after many years on the receiving end of poor presentations and Death by PowerPoint whilst working for a technology company. His aim was simple – to try and break the seemingly endless procession of corporate presentations that failed to deliver a clear and audience centric message.
Almost 7 years later, Eyeful has grown to deliver presentation consultancy and design services for businesses of all sizes from offices in the UK, US and Holland. The team at Eyeful work with the great and the good, from small one-man-bands through to the likes of Microsoft, Adobe and American Express. Underpinning Eyeful’s success is its Presentation Optimization methodology, a structured process that focuses the presenter on messaging, content and design to deliver a high impact, results driven presentation.
